Connect Your Google Calendar

Do this once so every inspection booked for you shows up on your phone's calendar and in JobNimbus. It takes about five minutes.

the same Alamo email, not a personal Gmail
  1. Log in on the website

Open app.mustangmarketing.org in Chrome or Safari, on your phone or a computer, and sign in with your Alamo email. A computer is easier for this setup.

First time? Tap Forgot password, enter your email, and set a password from the email you get. Use the same login in the LeadConnector app.

  2. Open Calendar Settings

Click Settings at the bottom of the left menu, then Calendars. Click the Connections tab at the top of the page.

Settings, then Calendars in the left menu. Connections is the tab at the top. Your menu may show fewer items than this admin view.
  3. Add Google

Under Connected calendars, click the blue + Add new button, then pick Google.

  4. Pick your Alamo Google account

Choose your Alamo email. If a personal Gmail shows up instead, pick Use another account and sign in with your Alamo email.

  5. Allow every permission

On Google's permission screen, check every box (calendar, profile, email) and tap Allow or Continue. If any box is left unchecked, appointments won't sync.

  6. Check your Linked calendar

Under Configuration, Linked calendar should list your Alamo email. If it doesn't, click Edit next to it, choose your Alamo calendar, and click Save.

The Linked calendar Edit window. This example shows Jeff's; yours should show your Alamo email.

Your calendar is also your conflict calendar, so anything on your Google Calendar blocks that time from being booked. Leave that as is.

  7. Leave the sync on Default

To check it, click Edit preferences under Linked calendar. Default sync (one-way sync) should be selected. That's what Jeff and the rest of the team use.

Default sync (one-way) selected. Click Cancel to close without changing anything.

Do not choose 2-way sync. It turns your personal events into customer appointments and creates contacts from them.

  8. Check it worked

The Connections page should look like this: Google calendar with a green check, and your email under Linked calendar and Conflict calendars. Then install the Google Calendar app on your phone, signed in with your Alamo email. Your booked inspections show there.
